This spring we have been launching our wine at various salons in France. A salon is a concept like an exhibition where the public can come and discover/buy wine direct from the winemaker.
In February we went to Le Havre and participated in the salon Aux Vignobles. This salon hosts fine wines and food from regions all over France. We were there for 4 days, and it was very busy. We poured many tastings of our wine. The wines available to taste were Cuvée Phoenix, Cuvée Francois and Les Bulles de Monichot. We had great feedback and met many people who wanted organic wines and more importantly low sulphite wines.
Then a week later we went to Paris for the Vinomedia salon at Issy sur Moulineaux. This is a salon predominantly for wine. Here again, we poured many tastings of our wine and made many new friends of Chateau Monichot.
In April we are going to La Baule, another salon run by Vinomedia. We will again present our wines Cuvée Phoenix, Cuvée Francois, Les Bulles de Monichot and our 2023 Rosé. As last year, this Rosé is made from the cabernet sauvignon grape, giving the wine a fresh, dry taste but with a refined finish of fruit.
We look forward to making new friends and to enjoy sharing our wine with them.
